MICHAEL C. BROWNLIE, SENIOR ARCHITECT
Michael Brownlie has experience in all phases of the design and construction process, and has worked on a wide variety of building types including office, retail, resort hotel, industrial, institutional, and custom single family residential projects.
Mr. Brownlie was a principal at architectural firms in Arizona and Hawaii prior to joining Govan Associates. He is licensed as an architect in California and Arizona, and has a National Counsel of Architectural Registration Boards Certificate. He received a Bachelor of Architecture, (5 year degree), from Arizona State University in 1979.
Since 1997, Mr. Brownlie has worked at Govan Associates providing consulting services on construction defects cases on behalf of property owners, developers, general contractors and sub-contractors and designers. He has worked on cases with issues including water intrusion, product defects, handicap accessibility, mold, failure to disclose, and construction delay claims. He has appeared as an expert in depositions, mediations and arbitration, and has testified at trial. |
