JACK MCGILLIS, SENIOR ARCHITECT, GENERAL CONTRACTOR
Jack McGillis has over 25 years of experience in architecture and construction. He has extensive experience in all phases of the design and construction process including high-rise, multi-family Type V, low rise and many types of commercial/retail projects. Mr McGillis has a B.A. in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley, 1973.
Mr. McGillis joined Govan Associates in 1996. He has extensive experience in field investigations of buildings with claimed construction defects including; destructive testing, forensics and laboratory testing. He has given testimony in depositions and at trial, in a variety of cases. He has developed repair scopes of all sizes, directed others in preparation of repairs and analyzed ongoing repairs. He has worked on behalf of general contractors, developers, home owners, architects, manufacturers and many different types of building trade sub-contractors. |
