DAVID T. HERYET, Regional Manager, Sacramento
Dave Heryet is a construction consultant and general contractor with more than twenty-five years of experience in the construction industry. Mr. Heryet was involved with commercial and residential construction in Lake Tahoe and the Bay area, until moving to the Sacramento area in 1993. He was a shareholder of Madsen, Kneppers and Associates, a nationwide consulting and engineering firm, and was Regional Manager of their Folsom office. In 2001, he opened a new office for Govan Associates.
Mr. Heryet has performed detailed construction cost estimating for both litigation and property loss projects, including schools, apartments, condominiums, single-family residences and commercial buildings. He has acted as a consultant and/or expert witness on more that 100 litigation projects on behalf of developers, general contractors, architects, material suppliers and subcontractors, and has inspected thousands of residential units. He has testified as an expert witness in mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and in both Superior and Federal District courts.
Mr. Heryet has a Bachelor of Arts, Communications, University of California, Santa Barbara, 1976. He received his Juris Doctorate, John F. Kennedy University in 1992. He is also a member of the California State Bar Association. |
